Khadi

Traditional hand-washing is the best method: use a mild, preferably natural, soap. With each wash, the fabric becomes softer. To preserve the dye, air-dry it in the shade, and starch it afterward to keep the fabric firm. Khadi is not a disposable material; with proper care, it will last a long time.

Cotton

To keep your cotton clothes in excellent condition, wash them in cold or lukewarm water using a mild detergent to prevent shrinking and fading. Separate colors to avoid bleeding, and air-dry the garments to maintain their shape and softness. If you use a dryer, opt for a low-heat setting. Iron cotton clothes on medium heat while slightly damp for best results. Store them in a cool, dry place, giving them space to breathe and prevent wrinkles.

Satin

To keep your satin clothes looking their best, wash them by hand in cold water with a mild detergent to prevent damage and maintain their smooth texture. Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric; instead, gently press out excess water. Lay the garments flat on a clean towel to air-dry, away from direct sunlight to prevent fading. If ironing is necessary, use a low heat setting and place a cloth between the iron and the satin to avoid scorching. Store satin items on padded hangers to maintain their shape and prevent creases.

Linen

Wash them on a gentle cycle with cold or lukewarm water using a mild detergent. Avoid bleach, as it can weaken the fabric. Air-dry linen garments by laying them flat or hanging them in a shaded area to prevent shrinking and fading. If ironing is needed, use a high-heat setting with steam, and iron while the fabric is still slightly damp. Store linens in a cool, dry place, allowing them space to breathe and prevent creases. With proper care, your linen clothes will remain durable, soft, and beautiful.

Corduroy

Brush the fabric gently with a clothing brush to restore its nap and keep it looking fresh. Always use mild detergent and cold water to preserve the fabric’s texture and color.
